Pakistan is in denial that India bombed one of its major JeM terror camps in a ‘non-military’, ‘pre-emptive’ strike on February 26, 12 days after at least forty of its CRPF soldiers were bombed by a 19-year-old suicide bomber Adil Ahmed Dar.
Media reports have cited that India made use of its 35-year-old Dassault-made Mirage 2000 fighter jets to destroy the camps. Times of India reported that fighter pilots of Mirage squadrons were initially trained at the Air Force Academy at Dundigal, Hyderabad.
The Dundigal academy which was founded in October 1967 has produced one of the finest Indian pilots. Retired wing commander T J Reddy of the Air Force Association said all fighter pilots commissioned by the Indian Air Force pass out of the Dundigal Air Force Academy.
